For reasons of age, Mr. Hermann Josef Bauermann transfers his shares to Mr Hans-Walter Kryll 

2016

The sons of Hans-Walter Kryll and Marion Kryll become co-partners. 

2017

André Ahrens and Ingmar Kryll join Hans-Walter Kryll and Hermann Josef Bauermann on the management board 

2020

Expansion of the real estate by purchasing the neighbouring site with the production and storage halls on it

2022

Hermann Josef Bauermann steps down as Managing Director for reasons of age, but remains contact person for customers and employees 

The Company

Continue to write history! … and former colleagues became partners in their own company. 

Even though B&K Wäge- und Anlagentechnik GmbH is not a direct successor to Chronos-Werke or FIX Steimel GmbH, their tradition lives on. 

Until the company was founded, the founders were employed by Fix Steimel in Hennef, one as a sales specialist, the other as a design manager. They knew the market, the customers and had the expertise. Fix Steimel repeatedly filed for insolvency and the customers concerned needed systems that no one could supply. 

What could be more obvious than to take a risk and Messrs Bauermann & Kryll went on the offensive. 

In 2002, the namesakes Bauermann, Hermann Josef and Kryll, Hans-Walter founded the company B&K Wäge- und Anlagentechnik.GmbH. Initially planned without their own production facility, the owners quickly realised: the know-how must remain in-house! 

In a positive sense, two had sought and found each other here! To this day, B&K develops customised systems that generate demand worldwide. New customers are acquired through recommendations and the next generation has the genes of the company founders in its blood. Pragmatism, imagination and individuality in dealing with customer requirements are the company’s strengths.

Growth

Since its foundation in 2002, the company has recorded average growth of around 10%, despite the fact that B&K Wäge- und Anlagentechnik GmbH has focussed on consistency rather than a growth strategy. Pragmatism and the fulfilment of customer requirements is our driving force and has enabled us to survive even difficult crises. This currently includes the corona crisis and the war in Ukraine. The company has employed around 40 people for years.

In order to improve our work processes, productivity, quality and thus customer satisfaction, the company is DIN ISO 9001:2015 certified. DIN ISO 9001:2015 zertifiziert.
