Day Tanks In order to keep raw materials closer to hand, for example, near a mixer, raw materials are often moved from large silos into smaller day tanks which are then positioned closer to the production plant.
Liquid Tanks Liquids or oils are often used as raw materials. The material is carefully matched to the chemicals being stored.
